Geumjeongsan · Mountain · Full Day
Geumjeongsan Sunrise
Pre-dawn ascent. Sunrise from the mountain. A slow descent and a long afternoon rest.
June 10, 2026
What this experience feels like
We meet before the city wakes — in darkness, at the base of the mountain.
The ascent is slow, matched to the group's pace, with frequent stops. As we gain elevation, the sky begins to change. By the time we reach the upper slopes, the light is different from anything you see at street level.
We watch the sunrise. Then we descend — into the valley below, where the trees are thick and the morning cools.
The midday rest is long. Three hours in the shade. Food, stillness, sleep if you want it.
Late afternoon, we walk an old food street nearby — unhurried, ordinary, good.
