What We Do

The Idea

Move

Follow the rhythm of the city.

Observe

Notice what usually disappears in daily movement.

Create

Bring back whatever the day leaves with you.

What To Expect

01
Slow paceWe walk slower than you're used to. We stop often. We sometimes stand still for minutes.
02
English sharedEnglish is our shared language. But silence is always welcome.
03
No agendaWe have a starting point and a rough ending area. What happens between is open.
04
Small groupsNever more than 8 people. Usually 4–6. This allows real conversation and genuine silence.
05
Every camera welcomePhone, compact, mirrorless — anything. We are not gear-focused.

How It Works

01

Write a short introduction

Tell us a little about yourself, your interests, and what kind of experience you're looking for. No perfect answers required.

02

Await personal review

Because group sizes are intentionally small, we take time to understand who will be joining. We try to create groups with a calm and thoughtful atmosphere.

03

Learn the details

If accepted, you'll receive meeting information, approximate timing, transportation notes, and optional group communication details.

04

Keep walking slowly together

No performance required. Just curiosity, attention, and openness to the experience.

People walking together in Busan

Why This Exists

SERVTOOL began from years of moving slowly through unfamiliar places with a camera — walking through cities, ferry terminals, mountain towns, rainstorms, convenience stores, and quiet streets both in Korea and abroad.

Over time, photography became less about producing images and more about learning how to notice.

These walks are an attempt to create space for that kind of attention again.

Not tourism.

Not content creation.

Not productivity.

Just people moving through places together carefully enough to actually experience them.

People join with cameras, notebooks, sketchbooks, audio recorders — or sometimes nothing at all.
