Hillside to Harbor
Hillside neighborhoods. A slow descent. The city at night.
October 18, 2026
What this experience feels like
We start high and end low.
An afternoon meeting in a hillside neighborhood — the kind of place where the streets are too narrow for cars and the stairs go nowhere in particular. We move slowly downward, through residential alleys, past small repair shops, through the transition where the neighborhood becomes the city.
We end in the city at night. Neon. Rain-wet pavement if we're lucky. Long stops. The light that only exists after dark.
