What this experience feels like
We start at the harbor and walk across into Yeongdo — under the bridge that used to open for tall ships.
The island moves differently from the rest of Busan. Older. Quieter. With a particular quality of light near the coast.
We walk through an old coastal village and along the shoreline trail. We continue as far as the trail allows. There is a long midday rest somewhere along the way.
In the evening, we eat at the shore. Then we climb the mountain above the harbor — not to hike, but to stand above the city and watch the lights come on.
This walk ends late. Plan accordingly.
Morning
We start at the harbor and cross onto the island.
Three hours
Long rest along the coast. Street food nearby.
Evening
We eat at the shore. The day continues past the point where most walks end.
After dark
We climb above the harbor. The city is lit below.

Physical Notes
Mostly flat walking with some coastal terrain. A very long day (morning to ~10pm) with a 3-hour midday rest and evening extension. The mountain section is a gentle 20-minute walk — not strenuous. Comfortable walking shoes required.
